Using a Steam Hair Straightener
Start using your steam hair straightener in just three simple steps:
Step 1
After washing your hair, apply pre-apply Steampod steam activated cream or milk onto wet hair. Make sure that you choose products that best suit your hair type to get the maximum results. These products will not only protect your hair but also add more moisture and softness to your hair. After applying the product, dry your hair as usual with a hairdryer. Steam straighteners work best on completely dry hair.
Step 2
Insert filtered water into the Steampod’s water tank. Make sure that you always add water. Using this straightener without water can damage your hair and the styling tool. You can then choose the right temperature for your specific hair type. TheSteampod has three heat settings from 180°C to 210°C. If you have fine hair, choose a lower temperature. If your hair is thicker, you can use a higher temperature.
Step 3
Once you have set the temperature, you are ready to straighten your hair. Separate your hair into sections as you would do with a regular straightener. Place each section in the middle of the plates with the arrows pointed downwards. Move slowly to glide through each section of hair.
